Configuration Hirschmann LION-24 TP
In this article we will show how to enter a basic configuration in a switch LION-24 TP. To do this, using a PC, we proceed as follows:
Connect with a straight 9-pin serial cable to the “console”;
Access the console of the switch via Hyperterminal or Putty (9600, N, 8.1);
Please login with user:admin and password: admin;
Check the IP address configured with the command “show ip interface”;
If you need to change the address with the commands:
Console#Configure
Console(config)#Interface vlan 1
Console(config-if)#ip address 172.16.1.1 255.255.0.0
Console(config-if)#exit
Console(config)#exit
In this way, if you wish, you can access the configuration web-server at just set.
Inside typing “?” will display all available commands.
Backup and Restore
Console#Copy running-config file
Destination file name: MyConfig.cfg
Console#config
Console(config)#boot system config: MyConfig.cfg
Console(config)#exit
Console#reload
